About Us
The Okanagan Nation Family Intervention Services and Society was incorporated in 2003 as a non-profit society to provide programs for family healing and preservation. The Okanagan Nation Transition Emergency House is a program of the society, which supports Aboriginal and Métis women and children who are fleeing domestic violence or are in crises. Services provided are basic food and shelter, support, information and referral.
